Founding Attorney

Kevin E. Morgan, Esq

Kevin E. Morgan graduated with a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995 and an Esq. from Touro Law Center in 2001.

After graduation, he joined the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County and began representing indigent clients charged in County and District Court. While there, he began his litigation career with successful jury verdicts in a wide range of cases, including assault, larceny, driving while intoxicated, unlicensed driving, forcible touching, and drug possession, to name a few. From there he joined New York County Defender Services (NYCDS) and continued fighting for his clients for the next thirteen years, litigating criminal cases involving violent felonies (such as arson, robbery, burglary, sex crimes and assaults) and nonviolent felonies (such as forgery, larceny, and drug possession/sales) with favorable verdicts. At NYCDS he worked collaboratively with experts, investigators, and social workers to present the best defense possible for his clients. He also cross-examined numerous experts, detectives, police officers and civilian witnesses while defending his clients on trial. He has twenty years litigation experience, successfully representing clients facing the most serious allegations down to minor infractions.

Since entering private practice in 2020, he has handled complex criminal cases in both the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and Western District of New York involving allegations of money laundering, conspiracy, weapons possession, drug possession, kidnapping and other serious charges, obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients.

He has also handled civil cases involving complex litigation, contractual disputes, and business disputes. He is admitted to practice in New York, Florida and the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of New York and the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
